I love having multi-use gear. This pack was built to house a probe and shovel, carry rope and ice axes... I also use it in the summer! Is it built for summer camping? Why not? 

I love finding gear that fits my technical needs that is also versatile enough to be used all season long. We don't need 7 packs for every different sport, find one piece that fits your most technical activity and consider whether it can be used for other things.
